Such a beautiful piece of equipment and i can't wait to see what you make, you did a great job putting it together with not having good modern instructions, so pretty. And would i like one? Yes, is it something i need? No but! Little English houses, lol that room is about the size of my bedroom, and we are moving to a small bungalow 😂, good luck and I will look forward to seeing you working with the loom.❤

You can see it nearly takes up a whole room! It is HUGE. It's beautiful and will be so useful-but it is quite large. I'm excited to work with it!

OMG, I cannot wait to see you working on this beautiful machine! I would have to phone a friend; to help restle that beast into submission.😅 You're amazing!💗🌺🌼

I can't wait to see it work, either! I'm dying the yarn today so hopefully this week I can warp the loom and see if I did a good job putting the thing together. Hopefully I did it right!

How old is the side-saddle lurking in the background? Have you ever ridden side-saddle?

It is 1780s-1800. It's one of my favorite pieces. It needs some restoration work which I am doing but I haven't used it. I've sat on the saddle, and put it on my horse back when I owned a horse, but couldn't ride on it due to it needing work before it is used. And now I don't have a horse so the restoration has gone pretty far down my to do list, unfortunately. I haven't really ridden side saddle except once or twice for pleasure for a bit but it's something I've researched a lot about and I want to get back into when we have space and funds for a horse again.
