Green tomatoes will ripen in the house. I had an early frost, brought in alllll the green tomatoes and left them in trays. Over the next 6 weeks, I kept pulling what was ripe and ended up with 4 more gallon bags to put in the freezer until I processed them into 34 jars of bbq sauce for us. Last year I did green tomato salsa, and we love that as a marinade for pork roast in the crock pot. Pull the meat, put on tacos, etc. So good!

Hi there. Any chance of getting you to share your cider recipe here. I’d love to have it but am not on any other social media. ❤
@living.different
Жыл бұрын
Yep of course! I’ll just copy and paste it : 🍎 Here is the EASIEST apple cider recipe you’ll ever use! You will need: * About 10 apples * 3/4 cup sugar * 1 Tbsp cinnamon * 1 Tbsp ground all spice * Water to cover 2 inches above apples Bring all ingredients to a boil uncovered for about an hour. Put the lid on and simmer for another 2 hours. Strain out chunks and then strain again through cheese cloth. Fresh apple cider, it’s really that simple. You can then process it in half pint jars for individual servings and water bath for 15 minutes. It will last on the shelf for up to two years!
