Can you make another video with a detailed view of how you built your portals? Please.

I've got a bayou 300 that the rear end sits slightly lower on the left. I've checked the frame and it's straight there's a 5 piece swing arm for the semi independent rear suspension and I'm assuming it's got a bent piece somewhere that I cannot find. I've looked for warps, cracked paint ect and cannot locate the warped piece. Did you find building your own swing arm to be a Worth while venture and were you able to straiten it up enough to fix the drop on the left?

Hey I’m thinking of building some front lower a arms for my 05 500 and was wondering what you do to get the lower arms attached to the ballpoint do you use a doner lower control arm and cut the end with the taper and use on the new a arms or do you have custom ball joint plates gabbed up. Any info would be great thanks!
@TheHondaOutlaw

i make new balljoitn plates from scratch i dont cut up stock arms
@ericmelia9181

Oh you do eh that’s pretty neat you have somthin that hogs the right taper into a plate and go from there
@TheHondaOutlaw

yes, its a old balljoint reamer, part number is wore off though
@ericmelia9181

okay that’s neat I have a direction I can go now, I’ll have to sort out what degree taper I need and I should be able to get a coinciding reamer to get the job done

Did you ever finish putting the 350d motor in this bike or is this that red bike that’s in one of your newer vids, that you said was just a 300 motor with a 317 kit?

How did this turn out and what problems did you run into with putting the 350 into the 300
@TheHondaOutlaw

Turn out ok problems, alot of electricals so I switch harnesses. Drive let me having to be all made. I did this at a te before I started to make huge reductions so it was worth it now not so much. I never have completely finished it I. Pretty sure it will run but I need to make the chains In the portals bigger before I can actually ride it

Sick build! That paddle is huge! Did you make the portals? Did you do chain drive in the portals for a 1:1 ratio so the rear wont turn different revolutions than the front? This is why I subscribed lol. I love stuff like this! Keep it up man!
@TheHondaOutlaw

I got super busy with reductions shortly after. Then found out that the chain setup I used was way to small so I kinda put it on the back burner again. I'm going to get 2-3 bikes running decent to possibly take down sound ok February and then after that it will be the next one I work on.

@@TheHondaOutlaw Cant wait to see it. I think its my new favorite 4 wheeler on the internet lol. When I thought of building portals I was thinking of using a double chain roller timing set from a small block chevy v-8 for 50% reduction, I know youre not looking for reduction, but maybe you can check out double roller sprockets and chains. Anyway, good luck with everything. Be safe out there!

I thought of that but it takes alot of room Wich I have but still, also I decide on #60 double capacity chain, it's basically double linked regular chain so saves room. I've got another project to do that I'm dying to build but hopefully by late spring I'll have what I need done to this bike so I can actually ride it. I'm going to be running 34 aztex
