That battery terminal grease is for over the top of the connections, after they are made, NOT between them! It is dielectric!!

@@tongo117 did u zip tie the negative cable to some type of oil pressure pump that might get hot? If so I wouldn’t have done that. You can use the black casing for the cable. Also don’t use too much tape it can affect the electrical continuity

No nonsense. Directions, visual examples. Even the tools and cables you used were included. Easily the best instructional car video out of all the garbage I’ve seen. You’re the best, and thanks for the invaluable info!

Lots of older Accords still on the road so I figured someone might actually try this and not just watch the video to kill time.. Tried to make it as detailed as possible.. Thanks for reply..

Good morning! So... I'm an audio enthusiast and had purchased a 3rd AGM for under the hood on my truck. (never mix lead/acid with AGM). Long story short I ordered the battery upon receiving it, clearly someone used it for a short period of time and must have returned it. I reached out to the guys I purchased it through and sent pics, and as good business it was replaced with the exact same one and all hardware as well that was missing. So, I've got a 09 Accord EX-L 2.4L with a full motor rebuild 5 yrs ago. Price was right, and gentleman I bought it from was a stand up guy. So, I check XS for OEM Application on my car and it calls for the same battery D3400, so SWEET, right? Not so, it calls for the D3400R which means the terminal entry posts are flipped so that the + post is closer to the factory terminal. (DANG!) Now.... I'm a do it my selfer and always have been. Ur thoughts? I think I can just spin the battery around and should be good as I THINK the ground will reach the short posts I got since in the truck the distance from hood closed to top of battery is a bit different clearance wise. Any added thoughts or ideas? Basically I have to make it work as it became a 2 for 1 deal and can't return it to get the Reversed Polarity so I must make due. I've got ALL KINDS of wire, connectors, etc. Thank you for video. Sorry so long!

Questions does it matter what location you put the negative transmission cable, or it cool long as it's on the transmission? Ty.

Don't know for sure but I would think it's ok anywhere on the transmission..
