The reason your coolant is still blue is because when you "flush" coolant rather than change it, you can remove all that crap. I remember filling up with water and water wetter, riding around, then pulling up to inspection at the track they could visibly see in the radiator that it was colored blue. They passed me because I told them it was water. If you want a nice light pink color you have to do a flush. Also flushing is the only way to get the majority of the crap out of your cylinder head. Let your bike heat all the way up then drain after it cools for just a little bit and refill when it cools more.

4:55 The recommended coolant change interval is 24,000 miles / 40,000 Km's. I'm really happy to see you use a torque wrench on the drain screw. Too many stripped bolt holes from those who "know what xxx Ft.Lbs. of torque feels like." I wouldn't bother with distilled water if you are just using it for the flush; maybe if you were diluting full strength coolant. There will be almost no trace of minerals left behind. It's not about the $2, it's about the extra trip to the store.

Is type2 coolant for auto same as HP coolant? Both are silicate free, but HP costs twice more.

Late response but I do this on pretty much every easy to reach, visible, non-essential washer. 90% of the time it wont leak and will be fine, the other 10% of the time I just change it once I spot the small leak. I always change the washer if it's really hard to get to or it's absolutely essential something not leak. For example on a motorcycle the oil pan drain may be easy to get to, but a leak there means oil on the rear tire and I'd like not to risk that.

Non-slip coolant, good for racing. Not good for freezing temperatures
