hi AVP automotive! thanks for your vid! my questions: 1/ where did you get that piece of metal that you used with the press to insert your ball bearing into the hub? 2/ what is the reference of your Milwaukee torque impact wrench (is it a 18, a 20 a 12 volt? wht is the working torque? wht is the peak torque? how long does it last before changing battery?) i need one before doing my clutch but do not know which torque impact wrench to buy? obviously the more expensive kit is good but do not have the money, need one handy not that expensive but not the first price with bad torque! THANKS FOR YOUR TIME Farid :-]

Hello, I am using bearing pressing kit M21-1 from Harbor freight. The impact is the Milwaukee Fuel M18, 1400 ft-lbs of nut-busting torque and 1000 ft-lbs of fastening torque.

When pressing the hub back in are you supporting the bearing on the back side to keep the center of the bearing from pushing out or just supporting the hub assembly
@avpautomotive6337
3 жыл бұрын
Supporting the hub, but I put a stopper where I want the bearing to stop. This way I don't press the bearing pass the speed sensor.

Excellent presentation! Well photographed and precise. Did you mean "Loctite" on brake caliper bolts (or silicone in the caption)?
@avpautomotive6337
3 жыл бұрын
I use silicone on the caliper bolts so it doesn't come loose with the vibration. I don't use loctite because silicone is more practical to me. Can also use a little bit of spray paint.

Will this affect the alignment of the car?
@avpautomotive6337
2 жыл бұрын
Yes, this will affect the alignment of the car because the knuckle is being remove. You would have to mark the position of the bolts and put it back at the same location to keep it somewhat aligned.
