I have had various Honda's over the span of twenty five years. I do not know the level of expertise so you may know this. Honda recommends to let the engine warm up two to three minutes. When you do apply a load like an a/c start in the non-ecomode and turn on only the fan L-M-H let the generator adjust then the compressor using the same method. Only after all of your loads are running switch to the ecomode. On hot days I have a fan which I place by the vent holes to give more ventilation especially for the inverter. Every time I turn off my generator I change the oil, clean the filters, clean and gap the plug, and clean the spark arrestor. It is a lot of work and I am averaging an oil change every six hours. Oil is cheap and it is important not to use synthetic oil in the break-in period. Check you maintenance schedule especially for valve adjustment. Good luck and thanks for the video.

Great generator! We traveled all around the US & N/E Canada beginning in 2005 in a 26’ Fiver. We ran our TV, electric fridge, A/C constantly. However using the microwave was too much as it would occasionally overload. I still have the Honda eu3000 is, even though we haven’t traveled in years. and it’s still working. Enjoy!

I think your unit is only 2800 watts rated load. That's nice & quiet. But for your size I don't know how you're going to get by with only one ac unit. If you are in the sun & 95° plus for hours all day you will find you need another ac & more than 2800 watts. I have a 32' 5th wheel with a 13.5 k btu ac & had to add another 9k btu for 90° plus days. With all other electrical loads off including battery charger too, a Honda eu3000 is not enough. You'll find that out on long hot days & nights. I got two EU2200's & much better & you can run one many times plus you have a backup.

The Champion we had was a older model and was just way to loud. Probably not a good comparison as the champion I had was older. But as far as a update goes. We just spent the last 2 weeks boondocking and the generator continue to work perfectly for our needs.

@tarf1a
3 жыл бұрын
@@nskgraff On a full tank I am getting about 6.5 hours on it. I won't let a generator run out of fuel while it has a load on it so it get re-fueled before it runs out. Can be bad for the genset. Most of the time I get 10+ hours on a full tank and it holds about a bit less than 3.5 gallons.

A great little genset, but if you put on a microwave its overloaded, I think most people want something that will run more then an A/C. eg coffee maker, toaster, microwave as well which I think this would be too small to do with the A/C on. JMO
