Wow ...i get anxiety just watching , but happy to see your restoration being done , best of luck . I have the 86 aspencade. Just did the belts , thermostat, spark plugs , flushed the antifreeze. Putting everything back together , what a task . But feels good when you do it yourself

@@61fourMoto Indeed. I was in shock when i made my first shift throu all the gears on the eway. Smooth like butter and so quite that I was able to fly pass the police at 100mph without him even noticing me. 🤣

Great video, I also have a 84 GW and there is a difference between the video of a 86 GW, especially with the 4 vacumn hoses.

I have 1983 gl1100 and 1984 gl1200 too... During 1985 and up they relocated the pulse generator timers and digital speedometers. The false tank on your GW aren’t they original from 1984?

The false tank is original, 84 was the last year Honda made a naked GW basically and they did not make too many of them either. Which is why the naked 1200s are kinda hard to find.
