I have a GX200 I got to go about 12800 RPM and now I know how many horsepower Pie about 13 to 15 horsepower my valves are moving about 3/8 to half inch travel and a bunch of other stuff honestly good work brother

it is half that, your rpm gauge is reading 2 stroke not 4 stroke, so it is 6400.

How many thousands did you mill the head. And what size crank you used. and did you have to shim the crank.

Isn't polishing intake screwing with engine ability to mix gas and air properly? My whole life I hear that intake HAVE TO be rough in order to mix air and gas.

Paweł Piczuszkin... correct. The viscosity helps break up the fuel molecules through turbulence. Not impressed with the job they did.

Thats true for longer intake runners that the air and fuel can separate, with that setup, it wont matter much, any time you have short runner itb setup or the carb real close to the head, the air and fuel are in the combustion chamber before it has the chance to do anything

Can someone please help me with my Honda gx 390? I put 50 lb valve springs, Hatter, jetted out the carb main jet, performance spark plug and no governor. The engine is brand new. It won't go up to the top RPM sounds like there's something keeping it from getting up there. It kind of sounds like a car engine when it gets to the top RPM in neutral. I hope somebody can help? thank you.

Vinny is correct. You have a later model UT2 type engine, which has a 4,000rpm limiter built into the coil. This coil has 4 wires going to it. You can buy a later model UT2 coil without rev limiter from aftermarket (NR Racing), or you can back-date the engine with an older UT1 flywheel and coil (single ground to kill wire). Don't mix combinations of UT1 coil and UT2 flywheel, or vice-versa, as their timing is 30 degrees different each way. Sorry my answer is 1 year late from your post question.

luis flores, lol... I saw that too. I never agreed with polishing the intake port either. The laws of thermal dynamics show, you want some viscosity to break the fuel molecules up before entering the combustion chamber. Smaller partials better fuel burn.

@@AmandaVee83 I never once seen fuel drip from the engine during the video, with it being on the Dyno being broken in I would say they had to prime the pump, once primed I'm sure they placed the fuel line on the carbs inlet then started the video! Besides, I'm sure two top notch engine builders like yourselves have never had or seen such a thing as a leak before right! I'm assuming the very responsive throttle noticed in the video couldn't have been true because he polished the intake port, Jesus Christ man it's a freaking go kart motor, get over yourself bro!
