I bought my HS621 in Jan 1998 and have used it every winter since and for several years clearing up to 3 different houses worth of snow, one of which was a huge circle drive. Other than normal maintenance and replacement of the belt and rubber beater bars I have had 0 issues with it. One of the best single stage snow blowers ever!

I have to agree - it is a great little snow blower.

I found one of these in 2023 and am picking it up tomorrow morning for $60. The seller sent a couple videos of it running perfectly. Hopefully we get a late snowfall so I can test it out.

I bought a used HS621 last year and when I used it I could not believe how it handled 13 inches of snow without the engine bogging down. Works better than my Toro CCR3650 in wet snow. Thinking about selling my Two Stage Ariens 824 to free up room in my garage.

Good job looking at the 22 inch but thinking it might be to small but yours is doing just great ✌️🇨🇦

Thanks. While small, it definitely moves snow like a smaller 2-stage snowblower.

I bought one of these late last winter for $225. It had a new paddles and scrapper put on. Starts on first pull. I just did an oil change; kind of a pain getting the oil bolt off but that was more to do with me not having the right socket (and use a torque wrench with it) Looking forward to using it this year.

love the 521/621! we will never see a GX engine in a Honda single stage again! it's too bad! but I'm sure the prices would be crazy these days with what Honda chargers for outdoor power equipment.

Thanks for the video. I've been trying to decide between a used hs621 and an hs520

Pest and Lawn Ginja definitely go with the hs621 if you can find one in good condition. They throw much better and they have a commercial grade GX engine.

how is this compared to Ariens Professional 21 also single stage? I am debating whether to get used HS621 or brand new Honda HS720cc (commercial model) or Ariens Professional 21.

I was given one of these for free last summer. Its in overall great condition. It just needs a tuneup etc. Considering how well I see it throwing snow I will likely keep it and sell my Snapper SX5200E which is like new. How much did you get yours for?

Tom Stafford It was a lucky find on Craigslist with about a 2 hour drive to pick it up. However, it didn’t come cheap.

Some thing people probably don't think about is that a single stage would be easier to lift to use on a deck. You would not be able to lift a two stage to use on a deck like at the beginning of your video.

don't be miss led by this video. First it was stated 9" of snow. I don't think so. second the machine in the back has a rod bracket that makes it difficult to pull up the stairs. Not impossible, just difficult. I must say without this click bate the machine is a good machine. I have the 5 HP and the unit is just fine except for the chute handle reaches to far past the machine so you can't clean next to obstructions when the handle is turned next to the obstruction.I have replaced the paddles and belt after a few years of use.
