Hi po! Sabi po ni sir Sid on a diff video, you don’t need kasi there would still be a hp gain…but if you want to maximize the hp gain of your mod/upgrade, then remap/unichip would do that po. At least, that’s what i understood. Paki correct nalang po kung mali ako. I’m just a speedlab fan/customer din po who’s learning a lot about car stuff from sir Sid and speedlab videos. Anyone can tune, tuning isn't magic, its science. As long as one applies oneself to dedication and study, anyone can learn. I say, people will rather pay because they don't want to learn or apply themselves. Or just plain lazy, or it doesn't interest them enough to do so, but rather reep the benifits of labor, and apply their focus/interest elsewhere upon the car modification process.
@speedlabchannel4452

you said what applies to every profession in the world. Anyone can be a plumber, can be an engineer, can design rockets, can build rockets, can paint Gundam. All you need to time and money.
@bentata10cvs19

@@speedlabchannel4452 indeed, but what was implied, was, people don't pay money for something they cannot do themselves. What looks easy to one might look complicated to another. You said it yourself, you have years of knowledge and experience in the tuning industry. Just most people nowadays, will not take the time to fully learn something if it doesn't peak their interest. It might have relations to what does interest them. But not enough to learn it themselves, instead just pay someone. What you explained might seemed not to complicated for one like yourself to fully comprehend. But to another, maybe not so much. Sure with a few buttons pushed and a few ignition and fuel maps explained, that might not look like much. But it can be worlds apart from someone new looking in. If that one person took a bit of time to research and study. Then I'd say yeah give him the laptop and see if he can produce any improvements with his own tune. People are just plain lazy, or lack the interest. They rather leave it to the people who have experience and knowledge like yourself.

@@speedlabchannel4452 true, but if what your saying is true. Then one can become a doctor by watching a few youtube videos? I know I was almost able to fully comprehend tuning just by using resources off the net. But I don't think you can build rockets or perform open heart surgery, with knowledge obtained from self education. Im just saying tuning isn't magic, its basic math and science. Its not to difficult. But being not too difficult still doesn't push one to learn it without main interests. One can drive without being a mechanic, or do body work and still call himself an enthusiast.
