After working 20 minutes trying to get this spring I realized I was going no where. Came in and checked you tube and yours was the first video I came across. Didn't have to go to another one. Great job and it was truly appreciated.

Wish I found this yesterday. Took me ages to work out how to do it but done it in the end. Had to put a screw in to catch the middle part of the spring though. Will do till I get a new part or I’m hoping a universal one will fit. Great helpful video though👌👍

Silly question, but is there an technical name for the metal band shown at 1:35? looking for a replacement but having a hard time due to a lack of a name
Ok I am going to pick at this a tad. When you wound it up the handle was at the top of mower when fully in. When you did the pull and started it the handle didn't return to top of the mower. Different mower? Or did you have to let some out for a starter pull at top of the handle?

06:15 The handle does not return to the top of the mower after starting because I first ran the cord through the metal loop on the mower handle.. After starting the cord/handle rewind was stopped at the point of the loop..
