I think that is a fair evaluation of the NC750x. I have a 2017 DCT, and really enjoy it.

Thanks! I enjoy it too, so much that I bought the same model after having to sell my 2016 NC750X.

Just like to say thank you for your videos. If I ever get a motorcycle it will be this one. Probably never go faster than 60mph. So its good enough for me. Some people will never be happy with a bike like this because they live for thrills maybe 170-200mph bike and that's ok but not what I want. 0 to 60 in 6 and a 1/4 seconds plenty good enough. Thank you again for your videos!

Hello Glenn, Thanks for the kind words. I feel exactly like you. Speed isn't the only way to get thrills, I get my thrills from being able to go to remote places not accessible by car. I hope you will get your bike someday. 👍

I never use sport mode as it is a waste of fuel. If I want to go faster I open the throttle wider. Try twisting the throttle full wide from a standing start. You will reach a good speed in a surprisingly short time considering the motor's power because the DCT will use higher revs when you ask it to by controlling how wide and fast you open the throttle. DCT is an absolute game changer and I am going to stay with Honda DCT until other manufacturers catch up.

I think when you have tried the DCT you never go back :-D I usually go with the D except uphill curvy roads where it keeps changing back and forth all the time in D mode. With S1 it seems to hold on to a gear longer and therefore the ride becomes a bit more smooth.

Thank you for doing this video. I'm considering getting an NC and gathering info about it. Very good demonstration of the dct 👍

Stop adding annoying, distracting music to motorcycle vids - road noise is the music - and sufficient.

I appreciate yout opinion and will consider this in the future videos. I think engine and road sounds should be recorded with a dedicated mic. My helmet mic pics up mostly wind noise which does not sound very nice.

Ye, I mostly use the S1 mode. It is nearest the manual shift AND it SAVES the clutch from overuse ☝🏼🤓

I still use the D mode downhill and in traffic, but otherwise S1.

Hi FinnMike and thx for this review! Tell me, what make is your GPS holder and where did you buy it? Thx again. JP

Hello JP, The GPS holder is the one that came with the TomTom Rider 410 that I use. www.tomtom.com/en_us/drive/accessories/mounts-docks/bike-mount-kit-2015/

Excellent review. What forward-looking main camera are you using? Looks really good.
@FinnMikeonaBike

For most of the shots the forward cam is a GoPro Hero 7 Black, and at the end of the video there are also forward shots with the Insta 360 One X. But the GoPro picture quality is superior.

👍🏽 review! Do you think 🤔 the manual not DCT version would ride similar? We don’t get the DCT version just the manual in NZ

People with the manual gear box say that it's a very smooth and good gear box. I'm sure it will be just as fun to ride as the DCT.

Hi. Thanks for uploading the video. Sorry to say it, but I don't speak English and I use a translator. Please, could you put your comments and opinions in writing? That way I can translate them, they are of great interest to me. The NC750X is a motorcycle that I consider as a possible purchase in this year. Thanks again. Greetings.

@FinnMikeonaBike

Never ride in drive mode. Never. Old ladies on their mobility scooters will overtake you in drive mode.
