you might want to contact Rosta with the connector in the way and pulling it rips the internal wiring out.. they could make their replacement harnesses with slightly longer wires and perhaps a different colored connector so techs in the future know its ok to pull the connector body slightly

What rebuild or Overhaul kit do you like for this Transmission? Do they all come with everything? Is the Superior Valve kit a good one? Which model for the P36a? Thanks for this video.

My dear brother, I have a Honda Jazz, the rpm reaches 3, and the rpm counter rises, and the gear does not change, and it slips, and the p1887 code appeared. I replaced the speed sensor with the solenoid valve, to no avail, and the problem is still there. Is the problem inside the transmission or an electrical problem? Please help, thank you.

Hey Gary. Another great vid! After my issues with the 62TE (thanks for the help) I’m now working on my daughter’s 2007 Odyssey. I don’t know if it’s the P or B36A. Your vid is helpful to understand what’s going on inside. The issue is RPM rise on a road trip and fluid blow out - No codes. They pulled over as soon as they saw an issue. Fluid is pinkish to light brownish. 190kmi but rebuilt ~20k mi ago (I do not know if the TC was changed) Another rebuild is a no go$. I’m looking for alternate options this side of scrap iron. I topped off fluid (~1+qts) and went for short drive (~ 4 mi). All shifts were solid and it even went to lockup. I know TC overheat and fluid blow out is seen from time to time on these. Is this due to TC clutch slippage (due to just wearing out) or is it a low TC pressure that allows the slippage, or is it no TC engage pressure and no cooling flow through the TC? What I want to know is, what is the probability that just a replacement torque converter would give it some viable miles. Or, what if I were to just cut the TCC solenoid wire and keep it from even attempting to go into lock. I know it will keep the MIL light on a( and lower mileage a little) but that wouldn’t be a problem in her area. Anything you can tell me would be appreciated.

@@GaryFerraro I have something embarrassing to admit. The van is an 04. I was able to get it up to temp and start to see the TCC slip. I'm going to try a two pronged approach. I'm going to add an oil cooler and if there are any issues after that I'm going to try just unplugging the TCC solenoid (while putting a resistor across the terminals). We'll see what that does.
