Habe ne Zeit lang in Lichtenberg gewohnt.

It has a stock exhaust? I think it’s an aftermarket one what we hear. Could you tell me the name of the exhaust? :) I have also a red one 1990. :)

Hey Oden Wald. I can see that you have some accessories located above the rev counter, can you share what those are?

It's a temperature gage for the aftermarket charge controller... No problems but nice to have since the original piece died twice!

@@odenwald7792 that's a good point you've made here, in re: to controlling its temp. by using an external digital display. What would you say is the safety temp zone for it? like are you able to tell from what temperature they typically go bad?

It's at 270°F while cruising. In city traffic it goes up to 310°F...!?! I don't know when the original regulators go bad. Probably 350? In Forums I read about a 200F maximum.... (90°C)... But the aftermarket part has no problems operating higher I guess

@@odenwald7792 Nice video! I own one of the last of this model (1993) and also burnt this piece twice (in Spain we call this "regulador" what it means, I supose, "regulator"). In my case the solution was mount a Honda Foresight 250 piece, which was built to have better refrigeration (with the same technical specifications, of course). You can see it here: www.hondateileguenstig.de/shop/images/product_images/popup_images/143_0.JPG. Since then (a lot of years ago) no more problems with this. Greetings from Spain and keep this bike with you ever, it's indestroyable! :)

The regulator was aftermarket. Had zero problems there. Sold the VFR with 110.000km. Looking for a RC36/2 as a replacement
