Did you leave the stock 18 in rim on the back and buy a 17 in rim for the front? I was thinking about doing that for my DR

Nice bike. Are you able to wheelie at the balance point and ride it? How different/difficult is it doing so with the motard wheels if you where able to do it with the stock ones? Thx!

Blev det stor skillnad med mekuni? Min org förgasare byggdes om av Benny boost och blev betydligt bättre. Har en sju jävla motorbroms efter han fixade den.

Is this big 650cc is hard to drive for off road trought the woods or you need to beat it like a crazy 2 stroke?
@KennyBarroz

Cebastien Larochelle I would say the problem with this bike going offroad is its kickstart and its weight. Its not as easy and nimble as my Suzuki RM250. The powerband is good! Good enough for street and offroad! I would say that this bike is more sutable for mountain passes or light terrain enduro. Going on the street with dirt tires is not to recommend.

KennyBarroz thanks, even if they looks to be a fantastic machine, i'll take something a bit easier to handle trought rocks sand and a bit of mud.

Cebastien Larochelle i would then recommend the Yamaha WR450F Great allround enduro. Nimble like a dirtbike and easy to maintain. Good luck my friend

KennyBarroz oh! I'll check it out. I know yamaha engines are reliable, my brother own a moto4 and beat the hell out of it, even over rev it to 9-10k rpm (downshifting) it still work well but smokes a lot.

Bulletproof, own a 2002 650r sm since 2012, it's 6 years now... You just have to be careful to the oil level. If something goes wrong, parts are cheap and easy to find. Super easy to maintain, everything is accessible, all the plastics and fuel tank take 5 minutes to remove also by a noob like me. No stupid weird screws, you can do everything with a couple of wrenches and a screwdriver. Electrical system is a joke, it doesn't have more than 20 wires! No battery, no electric start, no bullshit: only an engine a pair of wheels, that's all you need.

sorry, i dont understand what you are trying to explain? This 650 was originally built with the bigger dirt track wheels and small brakes. But as every bike enthusiast know, to convert a dirtbike for the street, you can go with streetbike wheels and brakes, it then converts into a motard. therefore easiest way to put it is that its a 650 supermotard and not just a regular standard stock 650
