your tribute to your grandma is so sweet 🥺 when i lost my grandparents, i was told that food/drink is one of the best ways to honor our loved ones who have passed because we are enjoying an earthly item they can't anymore for them. those loved ones are just grateful we are honoring them how we can, and i'm sure your grandma is with you every day!!

Kristen, you’re absolutely gonna thrive on your own and discover whole new pieces of yourself. the freedom is both intimidating and exciting, but overall it’s a great experience and if you can learn to be truly comfortable alone (temporarily ofc) then you can unlock a whole new side of yourself :)

When I was in my 20's I was always told to live alone and make sure I don't miss out on that experience or you'll regret it. Best of luck on you move. Can't wait to see the new place and how you decorate it.

It’s so funny that you said it looks like a glass of cold water. This is also my dad’s favorite drink, one summer (I was about 8-9) we were all outside I ran over to the table desperately needing a cool glass of water and took a couple chugs before i stopped and gagged because I then realized my dad was not drinking water and yelled ughhhh that’s not water as both my parents saw and yelled no nononono 🤣🤣

Woah early. My grandma also passed away this time of year and I know you're not a T. Swift fan but her song "Marjorie" is an amazing homage to her grandmother - it always helps me get my feels out :) also, love the vlogs! You're my comfort creator :) cheers!

This may seem strange but my birthday is September 12 and in 2021 I lost my mom. Ever since i lost her, I felt this strong pull towards you as a creator/person. I don’t think coincidences just happen. Maybe my mom and your grandma chat about how her granddaughter has helped me heal. Whenever you talk about grief, it helps me cope so much. Thank you internet big sis💚

my sisters and I lost my mom about 10 years ago & we have the same tradition each year for her passing, instead of gin & tonic, it’s merlot with squirt in a HUGE glass. no other way to do it lol

I have literally never left a youtube comment before, but felt compelled to suggest and share the song 'Life According To Raechel' by Madison Cunningham if you haven't heard it already- it's a really beautiful song she wrote about losing her grandma and grief in general. Been watching your vlogs for a while now and love your vibe and energy, wishing you well!

don't hate me, but I didn't start listening to the podcast until recently. my current dilemma is wanting to listen to it from the beginning (I'm probs on season 2) or skipping to more recent seasons so I can catch up on current news 😩

I found it quite sweet that as you were talking about your grandma horses appeared and you pointed it out so I looked it up to learn more about horse symbolism - they can be an omen for strength and freedom, they appeared in the moment you were talking about having guilt for moving forward and experiencing life without your grandma. that feels rather poignant to me, so wanted to point that out to you :)

Kristen OMG my grandpa just passed this weekend. I told myself & my grandpa before I put the video to show me a reason and sign on why I’m so connected to you. And my intuition was if she mentions her grandma then I JUST KNOW. AND IT WAS THE FOUR YEAR ANNIVERSARY? I was shocked. I’m crying. My grandpa always LOVED to cook too. When I was little he would pick me up from school and ALWAYS get me a raspado, an esquite, hot cheetos, and or takis
