Oh yeah🎉 My local butcher recomended using Dr Pepper to lubricate ribs for a long and low slow cook in the crock pot. I haven't tried it yet, but you inpired me to commit. I think that I'll put them in the crock cover in DP and let it rip for 3 hours on high. Check occasionally and turn it to low, let it go another couple hours. Take the ribs out and broil them for 5 or 10 minutes smothered in Sweet Baby Ray's... Sounds like a winner to me👍🏾

WASH YOUR MEAT!! I work for a beef Slaughterhouse in Texas. Trust and believe yall should wash yells meat before you cook it. I've seen meat fall on the ground next to spit and tobacco and rat poop etc..just to be thrown back on the production line and sent straight to packaging. If you work in Meat Processing you know wassup..

There's no meat back there anyway. And with them sliced up your still getting more smoke in the meat because you have 3 sides for the smoke to penetrate. So relax.

@@takeflight4666 that’s hard to believe that any credible pitmaster is leaving the membrane on. Leaving it on results in a chewier, tougher rib with less flavor since the rub can’t penetrate it. To each their own though.

It’s unpleasant, that’s why I always remove it. But to each their own🧐
