When joeystarted to tear up talking about Anthony’s death, I lost it. When I was 13, during the summer going into 8th grade my best friend was hit and killed by a drunk driver.. he was only 15 at the time. I was at my lowest, and filled with anger. Just as Joey said he filled the void in Anthony’s family, I did the same thing with my best friends family. It’s a horrible feeling to lose your right hand at such a young age, I don’t wish that on nobody.

Joey is always real but these last 2 episodes show how much he has been writing and reflecting. There is a different authenticy with him in these videos, in part because he is more consistent and cohesive in his story-telling. It demonstrates even more clearly how much Joey feels, his intensity is deep in these episodes. Ryan, you are really capturing something powerful here. He almost breaks down numerous times with the love and grief he continues to feel to this day. It is why his memory is so vivid. He continues to live these memories. Let's do another one Ryan...these are "The White Lies & Beautiful Truths" of Joey "CoCo" Diaz.
