So I recently had to put down my cat, he was only 7 years old. It sucked he couldn't live to be 16+ - but I was laughing and crying during that segment and that's why I love the Dew - you laugh, you cry, it's comedy therapy for me!

Sarah was probably laughing on the outside and crying on the inside. Losing a pet is heart wrenching. It is, to this day, difficult to put in to words. Empathy, however, translates.

As sooon as she got out of the car to go inside this business I grabbed it looked straight into the little hole and pushed the button. I'm staring across the room at my wife who is sitting in a wheelchair. Eight years ago she suffered a traumatic brain injury at the hands of a piece of shit drunk driver who hit her at 6:30 in the morning. She was a teacher, she has four college degree's she will never be able to use again, has had countless surgeries, and vacillates between the mentality of a child, and young adult depending on how her mental processing is going that day. The guy who hit her? No license, no insurance, couldn't sue him because he had no assets and today is living a normal life. Drunk/stoned drivers fucking suck ass.

@tbicaretaker I’m so sorry to hear that. Every other country sees drunk driving as something super shameful. I’m from British Columbia where there is zero tolerance and can’t fathom how people get 3 strikes here. I’m also a caretaker of my partner who has a couple chronic illnesses, it’s hard, and he’s still able to walk from room to room and has his mental capacity. I hope you have a support system and my thoughts are with you.

Right before I turned 16, my 20-year-old sister and her boyfriend and his brother were all killed by a drunk driver. Everyone died that was in the car with my sister. Last year when I got back from my honeymoon and I was in my second trimester I got hit by a drunk driver and was in a big rollover crash. I was extremely lucky I didn’t lose my son. People who drive drunk are the scum of the earth
