this scene murdered my feels..... I know most people are getting more emotional over Neal's ending scenes with Rumple and Emma but this is what got my feels... them mending their relationship and ending on good terms... and the fact that Neal didnt call him Hook but called him Killian is what got me...

Cause Neal remembered that during the time before he realized Hook was the pirate who ran off with his mom that Hook took care of him and treated him well. Hook saw Baelfire as Milah's son and wanted to do right by him. Neal realized that and also realized that Hook had changed since then. and if that stuff hadnt have happened Neal never would ended up where he did to meet Emma and have Henry. Neal saw what Hook was willing to risk for Emma and it meant something to him

These two are tragically underrated in both show and fandom. Colin and Michael nail it

I watched this episode on my phone in the college cafeteria and I may or may not have chucked my phone across the table and started crying when this happened.

Hook noticed the thing which I noticed😁him and Neal being like a son and stepfather centuries ago while Neal was a teenager and now both of them fighting over a same woman😂😂😂

This scene make me so emotional, especially knowing that this is the last time Killian gets to see and talk to Neal. Neal's death was impactful, but this one, this one means something special.

When you think about it Hook hugged Rumple too. I wonder what he'd think about that! :D

Don’t get me wrong, I love Captain swan, but I would’ve been much happier if the show had focused on Hook and Neal’s complicated relationship, and their pasts with Milah and Rumplestiltskin, instead of delving completely into the triangle. It just felt like they toned down two amazingly complex and interesting characters for it

I loved that he hugged Neal obviously I’m not a Hook fan I liked Evil Hook not the one in season 4 onwards but the hug was adorable only if Hook and Neal had more scenes together and that Neal didn’t die

@KenyaGirly that's... literally what the question was about..... They asked who was more physically attractive and the answer was clear. Not to mention Hook had an actual character ark, Neal just dies.

lol I love how many times Killian looks like he's looking down at Neal's lips (or maybe lower) in this scene. Even though I know it's just supposed to be him being vulnerable and trying to think of the right words, I couldn't help thinking "JUST KISS ALREADY!" (The worst thing is that it's making me want to ship Hookfire. A LOT. After all, they both are pretty sexy.)

Am I the only one that's a little peeved that not only is hook the reason Baelfire's mother left him and hook abandoned him to Pan, but immediately after Baelfire died he started making moves on his ex and playing papa with Henry? It's a little insulting all around
@emdixon13

Hook started making moves on Emma far before Neal died, so idk what you're really talking about? Besides, if Neal hadn't abandoned Emma, sent her to prison and emotionally scarred her for over a decade, they would still be together. Neal is the one to blame here, not Killian.

@@emdixon13 I completely forgot I posted this but I stand by what I said. Overall, though, the show was more focused on being a dumb soap opera rather than an epic fantasy. So I don't care enough to fight for my point bc the nihilism set in long before this show ended haha Just look at Regina: she gets away with raping and torturing the Huntsman for 30 years then murders him when he stands up to her. Not only does she get away with it and it's never addressed, but she gets to be the hero and queen in the end...wow...thanks I hate it

^I agree. It’s not that villains are not allowed redemption arcs, but that in this show the turn around time is super speedy and doesn’t emphasize the damage previous actions caused. People need to understand the impact of their ways to be truly trustworthy.
