This song reminds me so much with my girlfriend who's my wife now. I was fresh out of rehab but my wife at the time was still using and it was hard, really hard. But fortunately we both got it together and were happily married for 4 years and both have over 6 years clean and sober.

This song resonates with me deeply. I had a history of damaging the women I loved. I also dealt with 2 in particular that were damaged and I damaged them further. I haven't snd probably el never forgive myself. But I have fixed me. I can only hope that I have truly changed. This song is the reminder of what I've done and never wish to do again. Thanks Darius

I don't care what he sings now, I still listen to his music. This however was the greatest song of all time that he will ever sing or write. It is what made him good, and he has always had an opera voice. His country is OK but it's still more bluesy.

if you look at it, this was during the beginning stages of the de-evolution of music. Even early 2000's was just destructive to music in general. I can't understand how people will listen to linkin park especially as emotionally destructive as they are to the psyche but don't even know who tool, hootie and the blowfish are. and think that matchbox 20 - how far we've come is a terrible song.

Heard this on the radio like a month or two ago and thought it was beautiful. I recently began watching Friends a lot at nighttime and there was this episode where some of them went to see hootie and the blowfish.
