Not sure if you already have a video but can you do a tutorial on a good set up for beginners that includes the safety bits, and the best gel

Ever since I started following you my at home nails have totally benefited! I got a rubber base and now my manicures last 2-2.5 weeks and that’s with a very active job with my hands. Thanks girl!

Can you do just the base by itself if you’re wanting to just work on length and strength of the nail ?

I heard that rubber base is not good for people who have their hands submerged in water a lot. It makes them lift and peel. My job requires me to wash my hands a lot, and I was really hoping to grow my natural nails out. What gel is safe to get wet?

Yes! The only time fancy nail work on me is acrylic with gel top coat. Everything else peels off. I wash my hands a lot and always doing dishes. I hope you get a response cuz I have no money for luxury experiments

Update! I have been using rubber base gel for about 2 weeks. Water is not a problem at all. It does have a learning curve but is generally very easy to use. As long as you apply it well and have a good top coat to seal it, it will last!

I have super thin, weak, wide nails and I've seen ppl use base and top coat. It helps, but my nails are oily too. The product just slides off sometimes, prep and all.

If you have oily nail beds try using a dehydrator twice or as many times as you need to, the dehydrator should evaporate super quickly, that's how you know your nails have been properly dehydrated. You could also try to do one nail at a time so that they don't have time to get oily again. I hope that helps! 😊

A little bit unrelated but a few years ago when i was in 7th grade i started doing my own nails but since i didnt really know what I was doing i ended up overfiling the sides of a few of my nails, the right index(both sides) and both of my thumbs (also on both sides). Basically I destroyed the point of growth and the area has weakened and the nail always breaks there and i cant grow it too long. The nail tech i go to told me that the damage is irreversible now and the only thing i can do is use oils to strengthen those sides. And truthfully from 7th grade till now (11th grade) they havent grown back. Can you please give me some advice because i really dont like the sight of them☹️

Semi hard? Not a thing. Hard gel or soft gel. Soft gel can be soaked off, hard gel can not be soaked off. Not sure why you focus on if the gel is flexible. Where do you get this information? It's wrong.
@nailmartusa

There are characteristics of gel one of them is plasticity which greatly affects what nails the product be used on. Semi hard is a thing- I explained it in the video. Semi hard gels are also called builder in bottles and they come in both soak off and non soak off formulas. I’ve taken numerous courses overseas and from brands here in the states. I have even spoken to manufacturers of gels and chemists who refer to the product as semi hard. I am sharing information I have learned throughout my years of experience. If you don’t agree that’s fine that’s where we can agree to disagree.

I legit only use a semi hard gel, if you don't know that it's a thing that doesn't mean its not a thing

Why are you always on this channel questioning everything? It seems nothing she does seems right to you. If all this information seems so wrong to you then make your own videos with whatever you believe to be the best methods and products.

@@crazyowlgirlcncowner unfortunately the videos pop up in FYP. I questioned what information she is putting out there to non educated nail hobbyists. Education is important. Not sure the information here is correct.
