Hora Agadati, from 1924, is generally accepted as the first Hebrew folk dance. Choreographed by Baruch Agadati to a folk tune. Two decades later, composer Alexander Boskovich recalled the tune to be a Moldavian anti-semitic song, Gurit Kadman, considered the mother of Israeli folk dance asked the composer to write new music and that is the basis of this video.
