Horace is so underrated. He’d be invaluable in today’s world of narcissistic egotism and self over team mentality. He’s the kind of player who’s great yet concerns himself with being the winner not the biggest star in the league or even on his team not seeking all the attention and shit. Everywhere he goes, championships (or at least Finals appearances with the Magic). And he’s the third best player on his championship teams yet it’s behind Jordan and Pippen, then Shaq and Penny, then Shaq and Kobe, so it ain’t like it’s just some dudes, we’re talking all-time greats (Penny was legit as good as anyone in the league for a time in the mid to late ‘90s before injuries ruined his career, but he was like a TMac mixed with Magic Johnson on his playing style, you had Lil Penny Nike commercials and him selling more shoes than anyone other than Jordan). If I was a team owner/manager, especially in today’s selfish narcissistic soft egotist artificial world, I’d be thanking God if I could find a player like Horace to put in my starting lineup.

Why was horace grant so underrated, and why do ppl compare Charles Barkley to shaq like bruh everyone out plays him , Clyde drexler rained on em, mj destroying him in the finals , Scottie pippen destroying him, like every bulls player has destroyed him

Shaq was 7'2, Sir Charles was 6'5, 2 different positions. Jordan and Pippen destroyed alot of people. Barkley never had that squad. He was a problem to deal with, look at his highlight reel, speaks for itself

Those of us who watched him in the 1990s know he had this killer top of the key shot too, it was his signature shot with the Magic during the Penny and Shaq era especially.

I was born in Seattle in 1973, where I grew up. Sonics and Blazers fan. Japanese-American. I hate how he KILLED the Blazers. I wanted the Sonics to sign him in the summer of 1994.

The fact he didn’t whoop Michael’s ass after years of bullying and calling him “dummy” to his face is a miracle. Fun fact. Notice how MJ’s personal trainer wasn’t the bulls strength and conditioning coach? That’s because they were worried in 1990 after Horace gained a ton of muscle/was benching as much as an nfl D-lineman Michael would let his competitive side get the best of him and injure himself trying to out-lift him. Don’t believe me? Read the Jordan rules
