Thanks Mat. You’re spot on with a lot of the buildings. It would be interesting to make another video in 50 years time to see what it looks like, although it won’t be one of mine 😇

I've just seen this Brian and what a wonderful presentation. Thoroughly enjoyed it and greatly appreciate the time it must have taken you. The results are outstanding!

Thank you - that's very kind of you. It was quite a long process, but I've created something that is fairly unique to our area. I have made a few films of Horley as It is my adopted home town.

Thanks for showing this video. I've been to Horley only twice on my two trips to England, and I think it's a wonderful town. Locals are friendly and if I'd known it long before I know I would live there by now.

Horley still has such potential to regain a charm of a country rural town. Would be great to get the local commerce to be more thoughtful in keeping their shop & business fronts in a more unified and coherent style, rather than the disjointed mix of old and thoughtless modern style. Love the video, very clever and something you should be proud of. Thank you and well done. 👍

Although I have only been here in Horley for just over nine years, I did find the video extremely interesting and very well made. Thank you so much from Abdou Fatih.

Very nice, Brian. Are you in the Historic Surrey in pictures group on Facebook? It would be worth a share on there if you are!

Thank you Hils for your kind words - and for the suggestion. I don't belong to the group, but I guess I could post a message and link?

I'll see what I can do - although most of my images are films - if that makes sense? I have films of the London to Brighton runs from a few years, and the Commercial Vehicle run too?

I’ll have a look. Phone snaps are good for the page. Can be views or buildings or anything. The group was intended for Surrey-ites now living elsewhere, but of course not exclusively.
