A brilliant system, especially combined with the dongle for bluetooth control of standard dcc decoders.

Haven't tried the dongle yet but certainly the reviews for it are very positive. Thanks for watching and commenting.

@@mactrains has all the makings of a great system, I’m hoping somebody comes up with a way to get it to work with TrainController, here’s hoping, thanks again

I spent a good couple of years designing a wifi system to run trains with dcc and batteries onboard, then the HM7000 appeared just when the cost of miniaturisation was raised, what a blessing.

Thats some skill there to do it yourself - very impressive!

@@mactrains the hm7000 started it's life badly with the pwm power supplies killing the decoders, but after that and the Android update the future is looking good for this product. Hopefully the planned features will appear and it goes from strength to strength. I'm happy to use it, and i'm very fussy. Running trains from batteries is a must for me, and they run so well.

I run my n gauge locos with this system . I’ve a combination of Txs, tts sound decoders and standard Lais DCC. The latter two run through the dongle system and the whole thing works perfectly. A bit of a game changer imo.

You can run dozens of locos assuming you have the right power supply. If you're having issues best place to go is the Hornby forum for HMDCC. Lots of knowledgable chaps who really are glad to help.

Shouldn't the brake squeel be attached to the brake button ?

That would make sense! Maybe it could be added in a software update. There’s a thread on the Hornby forum for suggestions re HM7000. Feel free to add it in. Thanks for watching and commenting.

Hi there do you know if anyone has done a video of how to disconnect loco from hm7000 app and put it back on the app as I am having a problem trying to do it
@mactrains

Don't know of a video as such, but if you pop over Hornby's HM7000 forum there is sure to be a thread on it, and if not, ask the question and folk there will direct you to the answer I am certain. Hope that helps.

It’s actually very easy. Select the loco you want. Go to manage settings and unassign the decoder. Once you’ve done that, you can then delete the loco from the engine shed.
