I don't know why, but bus stops always give me weird feelings, but the feeling itself depends on if it has a covered shelter or not. Without the shelter, it feels like you're a lot lonelier than you actually are, but with the shelter there it feels like the shelter is the only thing between you and some awful fate that'll get you right before the bus shows up
@FeenieVonKarma
2 жыл бұрын
in the mornings I tend to stand adjacent to the bus shelter, at the bus stop itself, cos I'm usually the only dumbass out there at 6.15. So it's a weird combo of the two I guess haha.

Every bus stop should have a bus shelter. And not just for safety reasons. Not having one makes you feel less secure and more vulnerable to your unknown environment when the crazies start roaming the streets at night. Plus, it can provide cover for bad weather too. And yet, the government is so cheap to provide something as basic as that for the people is quite sad.
@enzito_sdf6978

here in buenos aires the bus stops on the highway are super creepy... they're basically these tall black sort of shelter things, you have to go up some stairs to get to them, plus the light is almost always dead. i never had anything weird happen to me, maybe some drunk motherfucker shouting but not much else thankfully. they are creepy at night tho, specially on smaller stops where there's no one around. i think the scariest thing though is how bad bus frequencies are. i once waited like 2 hours for ANY bus at all to show up. lol.
@jackiej6233

Isolated bus stops are pretty much the equivalent of middle-of-nowhere gas stations. You just pray you'll never go there at night as you risk the fucking biscuit.

Ugh , having to do any thing at night or deal with stuff at night can be a horror story in it self / on its own. It's too easy to be scared at night though. I'm always more impressed with getting scared by some thing or some one during the day / early in the morning.

Ever partake of the novel experience that is a journey on American Greyhound bus? Think of the kind of... "People" that you expect to meet at a bus stop on the not-so-great side of a run-down city, and then put them all together on a practically non-stop bus trip for 12-36 hours. One poorly ventilated bathroom. Crummy ventilation. ...It creates that rare situation where you ABSOLUTELY need to be intoxicated enough to readily ignore your surroundings, but not so much that you're oblivious to them (or be readily obvious that you're intoxicated). It's basically last ditch option for when you need to travel cross-country for the price of shipping something equivalent to your own weight via postage, and the amount of time it takes for the bus to get you there isn't an important factor. You take a 24+ hour trip on the Greyhound bus, and you are GUARANTEED to have a story or two by the end of your trip -especially if you're making stops in major cities after nightfall. Definitely bring a cellphone with an extra power cell, and make sure you LOCK your luggage -to your own leg if need be.

Just lucky this doesn't take place in Jersey, otherwise the bus would have already come 15 minutes earlier and you'd just have to wait like 3 hours for the next one because the schedule is fucked for any bus that isn't going to New York. A horror story of a different kind.

I once went inside an alley to smoke a cig and on my way back a guy pats me on the shoulder to stop me and starts pointing at me as if he knows me. I thought he might know me so I shake his hand saying my name. He introduces himself and starts complementing my long hair and asking me stuff about it. At first, this was a normal conversation about hair, until it wasn't. At one point he started back questioning me about me contradicting myself in an accusatory tone, like "You mentioned that you might cut your hair, but now you're talking about dreadlocks." (It was a very general conversation, where I had said that I am unsure of what to do with my hair, I said that I might grow it further, or cut it, go with the flow.). Not five minutes into the conversation, he starts asking me where I stay. I obviously did not want to tell him where I want to stay, I start pointing at some random building (not refusing to give him a straight no as I didn't want to be rude :p). He tries to fill in the gap by naming a random apartment complex, I go with his assumption and I say "Yes! That's the place.", his reply, "That apartment complex is not in this area, you said you live in this area, tell me where you stay." At this point I was like nah dawg, I pull my hand out of his grip and start walking away with my friend and he yells, "You got scared man!". That statement hurt my ego a little and I was contemplating turning around and confronting him about it, and if push came to shove, I was confident that I could fold him being a much larger guy, but there's always a chance he could be carrying a blade or a knife and you never fuck with someone wielding a knife. Adding to that my friend was insisting to bail from the place, so we did that. All in all, it was quite a strange experience, I wouldn't call it scary but it was quite an awkward encounter xD

The real horror game is waiting for a streetcar that's supposed to come every five minutes in January in Toronto when it's -20C / -4F outside and spending about 45 minutes watching streetcars go in the other direction. Then finally three streetcars in a row come in your direction (because they finally take the broken one off the track), and they're all full since every stop is full of people like you. You realize you could have probably walked the distance in 45 minutes and wonder why the hell streetcars still exist.

With how long you have been doing KZitem and with so many and I mean many different horror themed games and some games of different genres, would be cool to see like compilations or just long vids where you put those small games that only lasted less than 30min into one vid, like 3 of those 15 min long ones and have a 30 min one to finish it off but mainly make those vids based on like, eldritch horror based games in one, stalker type games in another and so on and so forth. Maybe your top whatever number favorite games you have played for us during your years on KZitem and what not. Or just have fun and make compilation vids of your best scares, moments and even gameplay mechanics since it seems in my opinion that the horror genre is always coming out with uniquely different types of ways to play and get scared from being blind using echolocation, using a camera to fight ghosts and even, I kid you not, scream to be are to see so because the pov of the camera is located inside the mouth behind the uvula and you can barely see outside cause the mouth is only a sliver but open so screaming opens it up wide but leads the antagonist towards you. Basically the game has you finding candy in a maze like house chased by ghost who only start moving when you scream, either by button or mic where you scream to do it, and each candy picked up is shown by it being placed while still wrapped in between the teeth so yea, mechanics in horror games lately have been very unique and with how many you played a compilation of your most or last favorite would be interesting to see other than that please keep up the wonderful vids, your commentary is very easy to listen to with how clear you speak, I’m partially deaf so it helps with a voice like yours, and the references every single vid from trash cans to Gordon freeman and mainly my fave you just going “secret?” Especially when unsure every time you find something hidden is just funny to me so please keep it up your doing great
