Hey don't dis the original scooby doo, it's the only kids show that positively taught skepticism. The aliens, big feet and ghosts were always a normal human with an agenda.

Over the Garden Wall’s biggest plot twist literally shook me to my core for weeks when I first watched it, and my sister refused to watch it because of that. Trust me , Over the Garden Wall managed to scare some children and make them think about the unknown and what it might really mean lol

a show that also had horror in it was a show called dragon hunter Where the gang in an ep has killed a dragon as normal and mounted its head in the tavent. But its not dead, and it can talk (which im pretty sure it is the only dragon to do). Before it get behead ot tell the badass Liantoo that it will haunt him. And after its head is placed it start to show him that it can move without aluting the other. Which get the others to think he is loosing it, as he tries to save them from threats that don't exist. He even sees the headless body moving towards its head

Nah, the really awesome thing about scooby doo is that it teaches kids that it's usually some rich white guy making up something to scare people in a way that benefits him.

Two body-swap recommendations, one uplifting, the other pure horror: Your Name [Kimi no na Wa], and Inside Mari. Also, the most disturbing "kids" books I've ever read [or, at least, the ones that disturbed me the most] are Coraline, and the Amazing Maurice and His Educated Rodents [by Terry Pratchett]. The movie of the former, I've never seen, because I don't want more nightmares, and the movie of the latter was.....the only phrase I can think of is 'Disney-fied'. It strips away the horror elements and tones down the darkness, and in doing so, completely misses the point of what the book is about! Facing that darkness, even when all you have is a tiny light.

I don't think the lich represents malice if he did he probably would've slapped the asses of everyone in prismo's time room. His a robot whose function is to put and end to ceasless wheel of death and rebirth of all things. He is not malice he is the inevitable scholar of golb, of chaos, of entropy because that's what entropy always leads to.

That is from a movie on Netflix called Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark. It is based on a short story series by the same name. That shit scarred me as a child. D: I don't remember where exactly in the video it was, but Puppet had a picture of one of the book covers. *shudders*

If you want real horror, read Junji Ito. He uses ordinary things and turns it totally horrific. The drawing is so graphic and amazing and currently they're making a series plus there will be a movie.

Aside from the fact that proclaiming something to be "real" horror is really cringe. That wasn't even the subject, was it? I really like Ito, but nothing of his ever scared me even just a little bit. Yet Don Bluth, Walt Disney and sometimes random cartoons did scare me - cuz I was a little kid, and that is why specifically horror for kids is an interesting subject.

Speaking in all seriousness scaring children is not good and not funny. I'm glad they fired those teachers who scared and chased the kids in a daycare. And parents that scare their kids with scary filters and movies are idiots. If a kid likes horror that's cool tho and it doesn't make them a weirdo. My lil sister has loved horror films since she was 8 years old
