Because each metal has a different specific heat capacity and those specific heat capacities are smaller than that of water! =D

I know the specific heat of water is really high but it's cool to see the actual difference. Water is 4.184 J/g C, copper is 0.385 J/g C, and aluminum is 0.89 J/g C but what does that mean in real life? Great video!
