About hot race tyres and setup. I see they have a bigger sidewalls than the AKA, Proline and Jconceps. You or pur need to change something when just change for hot race tires?

They don't actually have bigger sidewalls, it just looks like the sidewall is larger because the wheel is black and it has a white sticker on it. The sidewalls are actually much more supported so the car feels much more stable especially at high speed. Our car setup has changed slightly but it is for the better.

Hi Ty, what is more decisive, compund or tire tread? On a worn out hard track with ruts but very loamy besides the line - what's the best choice: Miami medium or Alaska soft maybe super soft

The compound is usually determined by temperature and if the track is wet or dry, if the track is clean in the line you would want something like the Bangkok V2, Amazonia or Alaska. from what you are describing it sounds like Alaska would be the easiest to drive and then decide compound on how warm it is outside. Remember with the bigger pin of the Alaska it will feel firmer than the same compound in a Amazonia or Bangkok.

May i ask if one tyre has a larger sidewall do you have to change ride height?
@tytessmann5842

I always check my ride height when I change tires because they can be different sizes from tread to tread.

Which tread / compound would you choose for a dry, loamy-dust covered track that has hidden edges that will catch you out? During the summer it usually between 32 to 43 degrees ambient, with track surface temps going much higher than that.

I would use soft to medium amazzonia.

Hi ty what clutch do you run on truggy and buggy
@tytessmann5842

I run the Xray 4 shoe clutch in both, the part number is 358400, and I run 4 hard shoes (358460) and 4 medium springs (358481). The shoes and springs you use will depend on what motor you run and the feel you like.
