I thought the same way for my chosen career, there’s an area I want to pursue but there may be specifics I don’t like but I just pursue what I like first, I will be trying it!

also try drawing from life BEFORE studying anatomy. it helps devrlop your skills for everything, including anatomy.

What if i already know the human anathomy well? Should i try to apply it on my drawings from the start or try to forget anatomy for the sake of simple drawings?

What really helped me learn anatomy was to learn the most important bones first (as well as the latin words for organs) because things like muscles and blood vessels are often named by the bones they attach to/run by or the organs they supply! Anatomical terms are a lot less random than I used to think they are lol

What's your advice for somebody who's experienced with drawing but wants to improve their anatomy and finds it overwhelming?
@markliamsmith

Don’t try to learn all of the anatomy for each part. Just learn the basic shapes of the major muscle groups. I actually posted (on my Patreon) an 11-minute video today about the forearm muscles. I talk about what muscles should be remembered and what should be disregarded.

I don't know if you you like feedback, but I really do enjoy watching your drawings and learning. It does help immensely. I only have one issue. Your voice drives me up the f****** wall like just thinking about it. This is making me upset right now. I'm joking but it is unsoothing
