From a Canadian perspective this event is horrific. This movie was very well done for such a horrific story to be told. May God heal all the victims of this tragedy.

It was General Bizimungu telling the lieutenant to stand down and leave the hotel alone, so that pissed him off because he wanted to kill the Tutsis that were held up there.

@@the2pages62 It’s the other way around. The movie came out in 2004 and the book in 2006. The book was a way to capitalize on the movie.
