Been spending the last couple of days catching up on the back catalogue. Great fun !! Been chuckling about the scuffed boots and the dragging of toes while you walk Trev. Great comedic value the pair of you with a sprinkling of an equal measure of education, awareness raising and inspiration thrown in !! Looking forward to the remainder of the videos :-)

Glad I found you guys! You're pretty cool and your vlogs are fun to watch! :) Found you because we are going up to Dartmoor in a week, for a couple of days, doing some walking to see the tors and standing stones and Wistman's Wood especially! Not camping however, though it does look fun!

Thanks for watching, and we are glad you found us too, hope you enjoy all that you find! Hope you enjoy your own Dartmoor exploration, but make sure you take a map and compass, if that weather comes in, the moors are deadly! Wistmans wood is a great area - with some fantastic tors around it. We camped there once but didn't realise we weren't supposed to (Check out our video here if you haven't already - kzitem.info/news/bejne/r4OptWutiqihdKA&t)

I spent the extra 20 quid and got the Sawyer squeeze over the mini. It filter water 4x faster. Both great filters. Didn't no Hound tor was out of the zone either. I can tell you two really enjoyed this one.

Yeah, probably should have done that, but not too bad filling (in the summer months anyway). We didnt know Hound Tor was out of bounds either. Will be paying more attention to the maps from now on. Cheers for watching, Nick!

Great video we have the fast flow sawyer it's a lot more quicker best thing about them they will fit on most bottles so you could fill up a few then put filter on and drink from there saves time as you don't have to filter before you re fill if that makes sense :-) glad you got the weather as well good to see your banter as always ATB Leona and chris

Great vid again guys. The tarp tent looks great but a little too open to all those little things with wings and too many legs - DD tarps do a lightweight summer mesh only tent that looks as though it would possibly fit within the tarp set up - but not sure of dimensions? Have you had a look - might be worth a review maybe. Cheers again both.

I didn't notice this when you posted this, but when Nate is walking away from the camera, it looks like he's wearing a black mini skirt. Once you see that you can't unsee it. But if you stayed home, could you walk out your door and stroll through along those glorious boulders of Hounds Tor and looked off in the distance at those luscious green fields? No?

Here in germany it´s difficult. how wild camping is illegal. There are more than 20 different laws It depends, in which state of Germany you are. Even the police maybe don´t know it. The differences are: If you are in a sleeping bag only, or if you build a tent. sleeping bag = Biwak called = legal in germany and austria. A tent = Camping = illegal, outside of camp- or private ground. A tarp only = they get confused, if its legal, or not. The best way: Be stealth at wild camping. No open fire. Absolutely leave no traces. Even no poo. The pressed down grass, will stand up after two to three days. So Nobody can see, that Someone was there. If you camp in the german woods, and the ranger finds you: No big trouble. Maybe he wants, that you leave the woods right now. Or next morning. And he don´t allow open fire. But for shure, he checks next day, if you really left the place. In Germany, Austria and Sweden: They are angry, because the wild campers leaves so much trash.

This was really interesting information, thanks. Its always good to hear how other countries view things. Its a shame that over here too people a lot of rubbish sometimes, which could one day have a negative effect and they could ban free camping. Shame!
