Enjoyable video, Russ. It is excellent that your ideas have come together and you have your system operational. Looking forward to your detailed breakdown in the future. Nice story. I'm sure your boys also think about those times if they live where the snow flies. We struggled through shoveling unusually deep snowfalls in 2021 and I had had enough. Bought a snow blower for 2022 and saw it sit nearly unused the whole winter. Can't win sometimes.

I would love the ability to build my own. I have a generator setup, but not a battery setup. Thanks. Your help is appreciated. Channels like this are really cool to learn from.

You're not going to build it yourself? I will say you might look at the Anker Solix f3800. It's supposed to debut in March 2024. You can pre-order at a pretty good price if you don't want to build one. It just plugs into the same outlet as the generator, if you have the Nema 30-amp 240v outlet. No building and works just like mine.

Wow, excellent project and you have it finished and it is ready to go. Eager to see a full demo/detail video about it. Cheers

What was the cost of the batteries and inverter. What types? Thanks.

I bought EG4 lifepower4 server batteries (3) at $1400 each. I also bought the EG4 6K (240v) all-in-One inverter at $1100. The inverter is now discontinued. I think I was one of the last ones to buy it. What size generator do you have?
