Hi Catherine You are killing me. I have already had cake this evening but those chocolates are so pretty and love the book look. I think I would like your favorite…so pretty too. I do love the combination of dark chocolate and raspberry. I made my young neighbor a dark chocolate cake with raspberry filling with white buttercream icing and chocolate squiggles on top for her birthday. I did not understand the white filling in your raspberry one. My husband and I got tons of sweets from our nieces at Christmas. We are still eating them. I have been saving a little box of chocolates. I go to the garage and it’s mostly eaten. My husband said take them , before I eat the rest. I left him a few more.I don’t know about you but that period after Christmas and before Spring always gets me down and that is when I turn to sugar😂😂😂😂 for comfort. Love seeing you my far away neighbor. I am jealous…wish I could have been there at the table with your friends sampling those chocolates. ❤❤❤❤

Hi Rita, I'm like you... the dark and dreary end of winter get to me as well and sugar is a sure way to pick me up. OK, lucky neighbor... i love raspberry filling in my cakes with butter cream icing. But the one in the chocolate was that white paste with raspberry liquor or extract. I am not sure. I couldn't handle it. LOL. I have been lazy lately (Jan/Feb-itis) and have a clothing video that has been filmed for two weeks, but I haven't had the energy to edit it. I will try today. Spring is getting here early, so I've noticed things are sprouting, which makes me super happy and looking forward to sunnier days. Hugs, virtual neighbor! Love from TX. Catherine

@@CatherineHopkinsDesignsLife My dear dad used to say in the Spring everything will be better. The last time he said that to me he was going to have to get his second leg amputated because of PAD…no diabetes but artery problems. I think he willed himself to die. My mom died when she was forty nine so I miss them both , but miss dad because he was around longer. We have crocuses blooming in the front yard..I can not wait for all the other flowers and the dogwoods to bloom. We will make it Catherine because Spring fixes everything..Hugs sweet friend. I do not know what you are using on your skin, but it is radiant. I had to get a hair cut. My hair was better and now it is awful. I think it is our hard water..going to have to get a water softener. Also, my thyroid meds changed and liked them, but something going on with my hair. Have you been watching all the videos on UTube about castor oil…it is now for hair, for skin, for around the eyes. I ordered some..in a glass bottle and hopefully the pure good kind. Check it out. Oh, they also had claims that rubbing it on your knees gets rid of pain. Take care. I understand about being lazy this time of year. It’s ok…do the video when you feel like it, but I love to watch your Front Door Fashion. 💕💕💕💕

@@ritastutler1470 Bittersweet memories of springtime for you. I am sorry you lost your parents young. I have noticed the castor oil videos. I have some that a friend told me to use on my lashes, but I never remember to do it. LOL. I hope it works for your hair. New meds always come with surprises, some good... some not so great. But I hope your body adjusts and your hair goes back to normal. Thank you for the compliment on my skin. I have been using this caviar stick by depology. I am in love with it. That's all I will take with me to Europe when I go in May. I will add a link, but I don't think I have a discount code.... hold on: bit.ly/3HlaJ33 I don't make any money on the product and unfortunately, I don't have a discount code either. But I do highly recommend it. If you watch my depology video it shows you how I am using it. :)

@@CatherineHopkinsDesignsLife Yes I watched that...your skin always looks beautiful. I bought the black Jamaican Castor oil. I am using it on my eyelashes, brows and even used it on my scalp. It was not that hard to get out of the scalp as I thought. I just shampoos twice. A pharmacist at church uses menthol, castor oil and lanolin and it is good for any pains....so I will see how it works for me. I used to have nice eyebrows but tweezer them to death. I can not wait to see what all your garden has this year. The crocuses are in bloom in the front yard. Have a good rest of the week my friend. ❤🧡💛

@@ritastutler1470 Oh Rita, do let me know what your experience was with castor oil for your eyelashes. I might have to do it myself, but I want to hear from someone who really uses it. I hear you about brows.... they are the first to go as we age... mine are very very sparse and I don't leave the house without my drawned brows lol. It has been raining a lot here, and two of my fences are down. So my husband is working on them (he takes his good old time, but I don't mind it - it is good for him). I have been planting lots of seeds, but I think it will warm up really fast this year and kill everything because we are having February temperatures in the 70's already. Once things start to sprout I will do a video. I never planted crocus here... or if I did it was a long time ago and they never came back. I think they need to be treated as annuals here. I will be working on my FDF video today. My goal is to have a video this weekend. So see you this weekend!!!

Hi friends! I got to try out these yummy chocolates and shared them with friends. So I wanted you guys to take a look. Have you ever tried House of Dorchester fine chocolates? Let me know. They are a sister company of an even finer brand, Charbonnel.

I’m not crazy about dark chocolate… that shows you my bad eating habits… but the caramel YES! The one that I said tasted like gingerbread cookies covered in yummy chocolate was AMAZING. 🤩 I would eat an entire box of those. 😂. Is spring warming up for you guys. It has been about 8 degrees warmer than usual over here. I’m worried about hurricane season with all this heat… hopefully it will just mean that we will have a mild summer, which would be very welcomed. Hugs my Northern friend.

@@CatherineHopkinsDesignsLife it has been less cold and the groundhog said early spring 😄 we can only hope 🤞 the snow has melted quite a bit so that’s a good sign. In Nova Scotia they had tons of snow ❄️ I’m really looking forward for warm weather 🤗🤗
