Refreshing. Unpretentious, honest, warm man with a beautiful design style for his own home. understanding what home means to you particularly when you’ve had childhood instability is so important…this means not buying into what anyone else tells you your home should look like or be. security, comfort, stability, a place to gather and spend time with the people you love, where you can be yourself and be your creative self while feeing supported is actually a harder life to build than it sounds. I love this apartment and this man’s humility. 👌🏽🥳🌸

@@lsamoaThere are no unanchored mirrors. As for the artwork, the paintings and scultures are classical in style, no different from what you'd find in a museum. This is such an inspiring video. Jason has taken a 450 sq. ft. old apartment and made into an oasis. As you look at the space, it feels like it is much bigger than what it is. He has used every inch of space to his advantage -- showcasing all his lovely art and all of his other prized possessions. He also made great use of the vertical space in his closet. His daughter's room is lovely; all her toys are near her. He looks like he is probably a great dad. By observing his gentle manner, I am sure that he is. He seems very patient and attentive. He may have not renovated the bathroom or kitchen, but you would never know by seeing what he created in both those rooms. Kudos to Jason! I hope that we can witness more videos as he does his renovations.

I feel like he could have used a sofa that has a pull out bed function - making it a temporary guest bed if necessary. As well as using those IKEA shoe cabinet which it has a cover to hide the shoe clutter. Majority of his decor is nice but sometimes it feels a bit too cluttered for my liking. I have to give it to him for using a white banquette, I would never be able to pull that off - it would get dirty fast.
