In Australia rentals are hard to find & really expensive right now. I was lucky to get a good one with a good landlord. We need compound arrangements like you have. Right now everyone lives in separate houses or units & no one talks to each other. A third of households in Australia have only one person - more than half have only 1 or 2 people. Most are materially rich, but there is an epidemic of unhealthy loneliness 😢

Hi Eunice, the compound is beautiful. There is currently a housing crisis in the United States. We are experiencing a growing population of homelessness. People are becoming homeless beause of the rising costs of housing. The average cost of a rental unit for a two bedroom apartment is $1295.00 per month in the USA. The cost of housing is unsustainable for many people in the United States.

Lol not sure what part of the United States your referring to but here in the deep south the average rent is only 400$ for a 2 bedroom 1 bath..so you must be talking about liberal run city's..because the red states are not this high..you may want to get out of that blue state..

@@tanaisagibson7138 I'm used to living with a big family, so there's my shared bathroom experience 😀. It's hard to feel as comfortable sharing bathrooms in the city if the people around you change a lot. If most people live in your building for awhile and you get to know each other, not so bad. Some people do stay at hostels with shared bathroom. Those usually have someone to help clean. Have a schedule like this this video does help a lot.

That's why I am watching places that can I accommodate my visitation. And I want to experience lifestyle outside cities, and this can be a perfect place for me. @@AcholiPride thank you! perhaps there was a reason for those of the Luo tribe in Kenya for the shape of their houses. And by the way, rents in this state of Michigan have gone astronomically high. for a one bedroom apt. as much as 12 hundred to 15. A lot of people are now living with friends and families because it's become difficult to live anywhere nowadays! It's become, according to the money spent for living ridiculously high!

@@pietrojenkins6901 I'm not talking about western countries. I asked the question because my friend from the Luo tribe in Kenya, that their round houses were built that way in order to not let evil spirits dwell in corners. Dome buildings in western countries, I'd suppose are a type of architecture for the sake of a particular style...although I'd wish there were evil spirits dwelling in these...(who am I kidding? since western countries have more evil spirits dwelling about, corners or no corners, than ever you'd find in those round living spaces the Luo prefer.
