Great video man! Its really nice seeing a German-manufactured tram in the US! I am glad that Caltrain is ordering some Stadler KISS. I've also heard that in Ottawa, Canada, O-Trains are using a French-manufactured train called Alstom Lint. In Europe, mostly the Alstom Lint trains operate for ODEG or Regionalbahn/Regionalverkehr (DB). However, at 1:49-1:51 you have a Face Reveal...if you don't want that to be the case, it's better to re-upload it . Also, you've spelled Train incorrectly. You are supposed to type 4K Train Ride. Not 4K Tain Ride!

@@SkyvatorProductionsNot so much. DARt will be replacing their kinki sharyo LRTs in 2026 and most likely with a “metro style” Low floor LRT.

@@KingAsa5 Do you know what trains they will be? If they are metro style trains, I imagine they will be Alstom or Hitatchi trains. It would be awesome if Dallas got the newer BART fleet type of trains here.

@@SkyvatorProductions No not yet. DART hasn’t put out an RFP but they’ll most likely get Hitachi, stadler, Alstom or as you said Siemens. I’m hoping for Hitachi. It’ll have to be Low floor Trina though, so upgrades will be customed. The BART fleet is amazing. Similar to DC and Atlantas. But those are Heavy rail which DART doesn’t have yet. Trinity Rail express has it and they’re planning to get new trains this year.

First and foremost, beautiful and informative video. ¡GRACIAS! Videos like yours of transit systems outside the US urban northeastern corridor are quite eye opening. At least for me. Houston is one the the country major metropolitan areas and I am always sadly amazed about how little pedestrian mobility goes around. Any weekday at 1:00pm in Philadelphia means that Center City sidewalks are packed with people, which translated into buses and train stations with a significantly higher percentage of people walking mobility. Houston's streets look empty to me....with one exception, the number of cars. Videos like yours and your work dedication and discipline, are neat and welcoming examples of very good Visual Ethnography.

Nice to see the rate you make videos at, I recommend taping the new 244 El Dorado/Monroe P&R, which uses a special type of bus which you might not have seen yet. I know you've made a monroe P&R video before, but I wanted to let you know that they've extended it to El Dorado P&R and now use a different type of bus, so I'd recommend you to make a new video about it (:

Oh this is nostalgic. Back when I used to go down to the metro rail every weekend to ride it to U of H downtown and back (I never rode to any of the newer stations due to safety) I would ALWAYS get one of these H2s no matter what time I come. I now and then get an H1 and I almost never get an H3. I still remember the exact noise it made at 31:34 when it’s speeding down to Fannin south which is my favorite part of the red line as well. Problem is I also wasn’t a big fan of the H2s due to how small and cramped they are which just screams it was striving for my capacity and not comfort. Hopefully the new versions of these solved the problem. I may be down there next weekend to see the new H4 trains after 3 years of not stepping onto a metro train due to the pandemic.
