@@larion1085 lolicore is a genre of breakcore my dude ;-;
@larion1085

@@caden4858 fake. is marked by wikipedia as a subgenre of breakcore but it's wrong. if you ask all the lolicore artists for an answer about what genre it is they will all tell you that it is a way to categorize a weeb element in a track. (ex. hardcore lolicore, breakcore lolicore, mashcore lolicore, classical lolicore etc...). it takes a lot of elements from various genres and puts them together, but basically if you are in the niche community of the genre you will know the phrase " lolicore is what you feel". this encompasses a vast majority of musical genres including breakcore. if the title is "how 2 goreshit..." then you can call it lolicore because goreshit named it like that. then this track has more in common with speedcore stuff than breakcore

Also I'd like to mention the usage of pitch in his lolicore era. It really adds creativity to the song. And you can use odd time signatures with more variations of drums like in the album TLFD. They are kinda hard to do correctly but you have grid in any DAW I think. Considering he's a drummer himself, it's not surprising his drums patterns I think are the best among the speedcore/lolicore kinda genres

Very late to comment but I do love goreshit's appreciation for rave and gabber as a whole. hell even my mom likes some of his music! the main song she likes is Fine Night because she used to hear the original song at raves all the time. **Overall love the tutorial since I love producing and experimenting with hardcore**

i’m thinking about trying to do something different on whatever style i try on my next project. Do you think i could realistically do this on garageband? So far it’s been perfect for more downtempo ambient but it’s fallen short in the past when it comes to sampling.
