Thanks, Gillian. I was intrigued to learn that weight loss was only part of Whitney’s goal, and when she reached it, she kept juicing to NOT lose more weight. Most people probably would have ended the fast at the desired weight for fear of looking gaunt and starved. That’s definitely a fear of mine.

Whitney is awesome! She said using water as her juice base was just as effective. That resonated with me for two reasons: 1) It will save you money because you will use less fruits & veggies, and 2) It will increase your juice supply. In addition, Dr. Morse did say that juicing creates a concentrated amount of vitamin & minerals, which he didn’t care too much for.

I love love love love love her story. Her determination awesome. But she is not juicing she is doing some sort of a tea almost a water fast. Are you crazy? You put a gallon water and a little bit of juiCe and wonder why your getting dehydrated?? The little bit of nutrients that you're getting from the juice from when you juice, are being eliminated by the massive amount of water in your system. Water is a diuretic order eliminates the nutrients when you go to the bathroom. You got nothing left

Whitney is amazing!!! I’m concerned about using water as a base. Seems like she drank a LOT of water with some juices in it and I think this may have diluted her electrolytes and caused her night panic attacks. Having water on a juice feast is good but I think she basically had too much water and only some juice. She made it through so kudos to her but I’m just concerned that it diluted her electrolytes. When juice feasting, the point is to support the body with vitamins/minerals and I think she may have been on more of a water type fast. Beautiful young lady and from an old lady (54😊) I’m really proud of her!!!🥰

The neuro said there was nothing wrong. Issues with heart palpitations and cardio said nothing wrong. Now I have knee pain. Back in 2022 I did a water fast for 7 days and a lot of the pains went away. I started a cleanse earlier this week and feel so much better. Fruits, veggies and herbs.

It’s now 2 am and it still hurts so bad. As soon as I remembered this interview, I came and looked at the comment section for advice. I have no one else to get advice from besides you really lol . All day I told myself it’s my body detoxing just like Whitney would say 😢 I read your comment to a fellow viewer Gillian about possibly too much water and adding in coconut water for electrolytes. I truly hope this helps. I’m too far in to turn back, my short term goal was 30 and now my new goal is 90. I really hope you read this! If you have any advice I’m so here for it ❤

The body needs two things mainly when fasting.. a wide variety of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidents (so juice fruits and/or vegetables to nourish your body with the essentials). Also, juice your fruits and vegetables in abundance.. staying fulfilled and nutritionally satisfied will go a long ways even during the detoxification process. Bottomline it will help enjoy your healing journey much more.. ps. Do you mix it with other fruits/veggies which might make the masticating process smoother? Thanks.

I know that there’s two camps around whether to juice watermelon rinds or not whether it’s healthy or not I am of the camp that it is healthy and it is greens and it does have chlorophyll in it and although I know that you can’t eat the green, maybe only the pith The white part of the rind some people eat but when I juice, my watermelon, I just the whole entire watermelon and you actually get more than a gallon if you juice a very large watermelon rind and all, you get almost two gallons out, at least a gallon and a half, it’s a lot of juice and then you can just add some parsley or cilantro or ginger you can add your medicinal herbs to all of that nutrient, dense watery base. To Get more LGB (lemon Ginger Blast) instead of cucumbers/apples/ as my base i juice the whole watermelon rinds for green and all! And then just add in the mint/Parsley/cilantro/ habanero/ginger/lemon etc etc and I have two days worth of LGB. I I really don’t believe that. It bastardize the lemon ginger blast that much, if at all but it doubles my yield. If you haven’t already research the nutritional value of watermelon rind and you’ll see exactly what I mean in someways I think it’s more nutritionally dense then the cucumber celery Apple base.

I am thinking about doing the 90 days juicing due to health issues. I am dealing with depression and anxiety that I can’t control eating, I think I’m addicted to sugar. And this is destroying my health. Question: do you or can take your multi vitamins or what vitamins do you recommend to take. Also what other things you can consume during juicing? Thank you.

yeah it should REALLY help with that!! GOOD IDEA!!!! As far as supplements during the fast - some people take them, some people don't...for a longer fast it's probably a good idea and if it's something you're leaning toward too then yea by all means take them! These are my fav they are all in one! they have b12, zinc, selenium, iodone, k2, dha/epa, D etc! I like how they're all in one!! I have been taking them for a couple years and I am affiliated w them now bc I love them so if you do go for them feel free to use my code savewithgillian to save some $$....here they are: lovecomplement.com/products/complement-essential-vegan-multivitamin

So nice that you’re guest spoke of the “downs” as well as the “ups” which adds to the nuances that can exist on a long term Juice Feast. Interestingly when she increased her juice intake to 6 liters it helped her tremendously.

What juices did she have. You too, Gillian, what juices do you do & how much juice, at a time - all all day? No other food? Surely, a person doing months - or a year(!) doesn’t go without solid food for that long? Ok, see 8 liters a day!
