This man has no signs of Dementia or Alzheimer’s, can walk up over 200 stairs daily (up until recently), and can hear, speak and read, I only hope that I can live a life as healthy as he is at that age. Many people seek wealth and in the process of achieving that - they forgo their health. Very moving piece CNBC. (For the record, my grandmother has Dementia (and is in her 90s as well) but is still hanging on strong.)

Buddy Grover is such an inspiration. He was at the top of Absecon Lighthouse during my first climb there. I still have my “I Saw The Light” card signed by him.

Met him on my climb of Absecon too. I remember being humbled as I was short of breath when I got to the top and here was a 92 (at the time) old man already there greeting me. Spoke with him for at least and hour and he was such a joy to talk to. Such an inspirational figure.

The reason his dreams are mundane is because he’s at total peace with himself. He’s lived a full life, treated people kindly, fulfilled some dreams. So he’s not burdened by any fears or regrets, and he’s not seeking any dreams to fulfill.

I actually think he might be a prosocial psychopath. They don’t process emotions like most people; they have cognitive empathy and are more analytical and logical than emotional. These people even experience love differently. It’s more transactional. This is simply a heritable neurotype. A prosocial psychopath can actually be incredibly resilient since they aren’t prone to deep sadness or loss. He has a combination of traits that makes him adaptable and resilient, and he has the ability to thrive in communities but also find purpose and usefulness in solitude.

which country? please be aware the internet is global. the fact that you think you're at the centre of the world implies you're american. we also need people who complain and who ask for a handout when they need one. your country is so toxic it's a joke. it's basically a third world country.

On a brighter note, every recession comes with an equal chance in the fin-mrkt if you're early informed and equipped, I've read folks amass up to 7 figures during these times, and even pull it off easily in a favorable economy. Truthfully, I’d need guide please for a boomer like me to attain such amount for retirement, we definitely need to benefit from this situation somehow.
