JOHNNYYY!!! Your the man my g, word of advice tho… you don’t have to throw in a “yeah” “right” “of course” after every other word your guest says while they’re speaking, it really throws off the flow of the interview and makes it seem like your rushing for them to finish so you can talk more. The best interviews IMO are the ones where the interviewer is able to get their guest to lay it all out and tell their story by asking short thought out questions and just let them cook

It's like how the person who is trying to sound cool speaks. And always tells his guests what they was thinking and how they felt. This just just ny constructive criticism don't get me wrong jhonny you get some amazing gues interviews are interesting. Just stop trying so hard to look like the man.

at 5:41, Johnny, your guest is being modest about 'silverstrand" (the Jetty). Standard fun was to send a 8 or 9 year old to pick up your new board and throw it in the fire. If you were stupid enough to say or do something there would be 25-30 guys there to pound you. I saw tough guy cops come out to get official and walk briskly back to the car never to return. We are world famous for this. But if we met him at "C" street he could be welcome.

The price of coke has gone up in Australia because of two factors - 1) Basic Inflation - prices generally go up and are sticky) - and 2) Cocaine purity went up over the years. Australia average coke purity just like 10 or 12 years ago was like 5% to 20% - and I imagine the purity has gone up since the Mexican's started establishing better supply chains there. This is also why meth was always a bigger market there. This is usually the case for most island nations/communities because it's a lot harder to import to an island and the cost of everything is more expensive. Meth can be made locally - or in Australias case, imported more easily from Asia. Kind of like why coke on Hawaii is shittier and meth is is more popular. Specifically, islands that are further away from main lands and have a robust anti-drug bureaucracy because obviously this isn't true for places like Puerto Rico.

You constantly interject your guest responding by throwing in “right” or “yeah” after every sentence they speak. This really rushes the guest to finish speaking and throws off the flow of the conversation. It’s not a crime to ask a question and actually let the guest respond by sitting there quietly until they are finished.
