Great explanation I remember working on our 9600 and those rasp bars there was a filler plate in between them and dirt and crap would get into the middle of the cylinder and cause it to shake the combine when you first started it

Very good video, I am from Chile, 1 year ago we bought a 9500 year 89 and it is a very good machine, it is imported from the USA, I harvest corn and wheat.

Back in the 1980's Kenny Small of Small's Harvesting put another fan between the straw walkers and the screens to pull more chaff off the screens. We were able to pick up 2 to 3 mph faster without blowing any grain out of the back. He ran the fan off the pulley for the straw chopper. Pretty neat idea!

Nice explaining. How many hours on the combine? Looks like you could use a new nose piece on the concave, and a hinged door in front of the rock trap, and a set of chopper hammers. Off season repairs?
