@SaelPossible In 2005, the average basic salary in the Premier League was around £650k per year with take-home pay after bonuses of close to £1 million per year. Unfortunately, this is hilariously inaccurate. If his company was worth 21 billion pounds, why did they need to raise £13m from outside investors in 2022? So they went from not having £13m to spare, to one of Europe's biggest unicorn companies in history in just 2 years? Not blaming you for this at all, as its been widely reported in the media, but conveniently the media will just say his company is 'estimated to be worth X billion', with no source given at all for the valuation. Flamini is in no way, shape or form a billionaire yet.
@1greenMitsi
4 ай бұрын
you clearly dont understand what youre on about First of all, a company's market valuation and raising capital are 2 different things. I havent and I wont look into the reasons why they would choose to raise outside capital instead of selling equity but the reasons are plentiful. Just off the bat liquidating shares is a taxable event and companies can get lines of credit at an attractive interest rate so generally speaking thats what they do if they are short on cash for operating costs, capex or what have you Secondly, your claim that 13 million of outside liquidity injection, whether it be a loan or equity, is in some shape way or form proof that his company is not worth 21 BILLION marketcap is ill-informed. Companies run big deficits in their balance sheets some run at a loss for quarters even years, on paper the company is worth what the last share was traded for multiplied by the number of shares issued =- market value
@oscarengel7660
4 ай бұрын
@@1greenMitsi The idea that a company valued at £21B would raise £13m in venture capital is not impossible but unheard of. I actually believe that it is you who have no idea what you are on about. Then you will find out that it is not worth even a fraction of what this video is claiming, you will even find statements from Platini himself that confirms that.

So much rubbish going around. 1. Flamini is closer to Neymar, Ronaldo, etc, than we are to him. Sure. That's true of the lowest reservist in the Premier League. Find the bench player from Sheffield Utd this season and he'll tie you in knots without breaking a sweat. Amazing the lack on understanding of football the authors have. Flamini was a top footballer, not an average one. Not world class, but definitely good enough to be at the very least a regular squad player in 2 of the top teams in the world for about a decade. Try that. 2. Where is the original valuation of GF Biochemicals? I see reference to Forbes, but can't find anything. 20 Billion? The biofuels market in total is perhaps that large today ad GF Biochemicals is only one of the companies and he does not own it outright (doubt is stake is even anything close to 50%). 3. Levulinic acid is not a biofuel. It is a so called "platform chemical" which can be used for biofuels and other chemicals. It is like a master key Lego piece you can use for all kinds of things. But GF Biochemicals is not the only company working on Levulinic Acid. BTW, I actually know the technology heads of the company. They themselves don't feel they work at such a valuable company. They trust the company will develop well, but it isn't anywhere close enough to make Flamini so rich. Even in just "valuation paper" of his company.
