I remember how he exaggerated how difficult his audition was, when truth about his family links came out much later. He is the quentin tarantino of India and his direction, cult films clearly shows his inspirations such as Quentin tarantiino, martin scorcese, in fact i think he was AD on Parinda which was again a class apart during those times.

Sir, when satya movie came I became a greatest fan of you & since then I have never ever missed a single movie by you.....all movies are fantastic & I love them to the core & your direction is incomparable, simply outstanding. Later my husband asked me to suggest some BOLLYWOOD movies ( as he, is into watching Hollywood movies & serials, feels BOLLYWOOD as a crap, nonsense) and I suggested him all your movies.....now he is a die-hard fan of you sir. Thanks for all those wonderful movies.

I agree with this man on so many levels. He is right that nobody knows exactly how its going to be in the end. So you need to take the charge. Also, I am truly impressed by how he grabbed the opportunities all by himself. I have always liked his movies(including short films) because if you look closely all his movies have a deep meaning. There is something left for the audience to ponder upon. I just hope there are more directors like him in the industry so that cinema gets a new upliftment. Quoting him here:- "Nobody owes it to you. You want to do something, go find the means and do it."
