If anyone thinks how to know it, a mummy of a famous priest of that time was found. The voice box was perfectly preserved. They did a CT scan of it, created a 3d model and then passed air through the larynx contracting expanding it using appropriate technology and this is how it came out

That process was actually how they recreated what sound that priest would make under certain conditions. To get the languages someone had to analyze ancient writing and figure out which of their scripts letters made which phonetic sounds and dub it.

The Vikings (Old Norse) one is using Modern Icelandic pronunciation, which many people do use for Old Norse, but personally I prefer the reconstructed pronunciation that Dr. Jackson Crawford uses. It’s a little more clear and understandable for me.

Cool!!! The Greeks are so cool, he sounded like was narrating the Bible, which is by itself a Greek word, BIBLOS!!!! The Romans too, he does sound like a Fútbol sportscaster, very cool stuff. The Vikings voice are low and grovely, he sounds like a commander or general, however the Egyptian ones are really scary, I’m sorry but it sounds like he’s casting a spell or something, Egyptian civilization is very interesting as well, cool video.

Very entertaining. The Egyptian one is using actual ancient Egyptian words but I can hear the mechanical effects wich never would've been heard since they didn't use mics back then. The others I don't know if those are words because I don't understand it but I can still hear the mechanical effect. Fun
