I just can’t understand why I just recently found your videos. This is the type of person I would like to work with.

Quality shops like yours are absolutely needed. People that don’t understand the value of a quality bow shop amaze me.

I love the honesty in this video. People need to learn about their own bows Atleast a little to understand the time it takes bow shops to set a bow up. If you know nothing about bows then they should not give you a hard time. youtube is a great resource for anyone to educate themselves. if your not educating yourself well what can i say.

Great content and insight, once again. Given what you've just revealed, I'll steer clear of them in my small shop. Work Mathews and Bowtech mainly anyway...have minimal discoveries with quality issues with them. Comments on your channel or shop work... Easy for negative nannies to throw stones when they have no knowledge of the profession but think they do; should pay better attention to folks who do and do it on a daily basis. Quality performance of workers has become a huge issue in our nation in the past 3 years. As always and again, great content...keep it coming.

As always you need to go through a quality shop to have a quality bow. Makes your shooting and archery experience so much better. Thanks guys for being a great shop.

I got a flag ship bowtech and it came from the factory well and truly out of tune, but the majority of proshops in Australia will do everything they can to convince you that tuning your bow is a waste of time, i don't know if that's because their lazy or they don't know how, probably a bit of both, it ended up being a blessing in disguise because it meant i had to get a press and teach myself how to work on my bow, and one of the most important thing i've learnt working on my own bows is that is it is 100% necessary to have your bow in tune, the difference between a bow that is in tune and a bow that is out of tune is night and day. Fantastic video. This kind of neglect is only doing harm to our sport. And definitely dangerous. If say someone looking to get into archery and are completely new and buys one from cabelas in the mail expecting it to be "rth" can only do more harm. Just not physically but mentally as well. I'll be recommending your video from here on out to any new archers.

Great vid thankyou..i have a bear kuma 30.replaced the string a while back.a gas string.after 15 shots the serving came apart.they gave me a new one and the same thing happpend..2 days ago i unboxed a bear whitetail legend pro..the box had a ripped hole in it..took the bow out and the serving was already coming apart..i still havnt shot it..plus it was missing a limb dampner.1000 dollar bow in australia😢.not happy, waiting to hear back from the bow shop.i also have the XR.so far its ok..i have spare strings for the XR and another string coming for the whitetail..gas strings are crap.im considering sending the bow back and get my money back..ibe been shooting bows for about 35 years and had alot over the years..i doubt ill ever buy another bear bow..

I got an XR recently and went through it to get it timed. The bow isn’t a problem. The string they are using sucks large. I can get it hitting where I want, shoot it awhile , set it down, pick it up a day or so later and it shoots like crap. Check the timing and it’s off again. Put a good string on it and it’s a good bow. With the factory string, NO!

Excellent work over there. I agree with some of your complainings; cam lean, for example. But, actually, I don´t think it is possible to send a bow "ready to hunt". That´s not honest by these companies. It is something to be done by the owner or by a professional (with the owner). The position of the trigger loop or, for example the height of the peep sight can not be pre fixed.

I don't have a dog in this fight. Do you think the Dloop is loose so it can be set properly? Maybe the peep is so the shooter could move. Once strings settled, tie everything down? Maybe factory thought process. 🤔 Obviously you're a Bear dealer. Have you talked to them about all the issues or your concerns 😊

Are the strings on the flagship bows the same quality as the entry and intermediate bow strings More specifically Bear

Basically, yes. I think they claim it is a little bit better on the high end stuff but we still end up chasing a lot of peep twist with them. Prime, Bowtech, etc seem to have decent sets. PSE basically has junk on the cheaper bows and semi decent stuff on the higher end. Zebra strings (Mathews) have definitely came a long way from a few years back. I once ordered a personal bow from Mathews back when we were at our previous shop and it came in 12# over weight. I measured the string and it was over an inch too long (on a solocam).
