I recorded a demo of Duffy "Mercy" in my living room in a little town in Allgäu with a Sony laptop, a Behringer audio interface and a Line6 Pocket Pod, no IRs, no plugins and the sound of the guitar was amazing! Today you should give not for granted that cheap equipmemnt sounds bad. The other pleasing experience was with the Behringer GD21 which I modded changing a pair caps and the IC and it was killer!

CONTENT IDEA.... hey bro, brother, your style. Your great . My idea for content is you and a few other accomplished guitarists each select a beginner and teach them the best you can over the course of 3 months and at the 3 month point each accomplished guitarists and their student play against the others and their students and take a vote on who can teach shredding better. And I would like to volunteer as a test subject lol. I'm a beginner ,I can play a few riffs but still use wrong fingers even still hold the pick wrong( I use middle finger and thumb . Anyway ,get back to me if your interested . And Of course lessons would be online.....

Of course it worked great with the VT amp. The Valvetronix amps are some of the most underrated pieces of gear out there. I've Had My VT100X for a decade now and it's still my go to practice amp just because it sounds great for what it is. Have had Vypyr, Spider IV and V, and Katana and Vox just really nailed it with getting the tube feel via their hybrid circuitry. I will argue that my Line 6/Bogner hybrid is up there when you are used to using it, but it took a lot more time and work to get it dialed whereas the vox is just butter to work with. Great mix though.

I love your videos in particular, generally speaking I don't give any heed or attention to any "reviews" by KZitemrs when it comes to music gear, but with your videos I enjoy your reviews cause generally speaking you prove the point the the problem often isn't the gear, it's the reviewer, you prove clearly that good technical ability can make anything sound good.
