In this video I'm going to show you how concerned you actually need to be about moisture in your filament. I'm going to show you what effect it has on your print results, what you can do about it and also, whether you can successfully revive damp filament.
If you've been 3d printing for any amount of time, you've probably heard somebody say that you need to keep your filament dry. All 3d printer filament is hygroscopic to some degree which means that it absorbs moisture from the air. The degree at which it absorbs moisture depends on different factors such as the humidity of the air, the temperature and the molecular make up of the filament itself.
